Pudu Robotics, a global leader in the service robotics sector, announced its first full-sized humanoid robot – the PUDU D9. Developed by Pudu X-Lab, this innovative device marks the company’s third release this year, following the semi-humanoid robot PUDU D7 and the dexterous hand PUDU DH11.
Standing 170 cm tall and weighing 65 kg, the PUDU D9 features 42 degrees of freedom across its joints and a maximum joint torque of 352 Nm. With the integration of the PUDU DH11 manipulator, the robot supports bipedal walking and dual-arm operational capabilities. During its demonstration, the PUDU D9 showcased impressive abilities, including stair navigation, slope climbing, obstacle avoidance, and ground-cleaning tasks using the PUDU SH1.

Leveraging proprietary reinforcement learning algorithms, the PUDU D9 quickly adapts to various tasks through end-to-end planning.
