Modern agriculture faces challenges that require an innovative approach: increasing demand for food, climate change and the need to optimise resources.  Consequently, the future of the agribusiness industry is precision, efficiency and autonomy. Drone technology, robotics, artificial intelligence and big data analytics are changing the way we work in the field, making it smarter, greener and more profitable. Traditional field cultivation methods are giving way to precision technologies that maximise the use of natural resources, reduce costs and increase yields. Spraying drones, autonomous equipment and robotic systems are no longer just experimental solutions, but real tools that form a new paradigm of agribusiness, where every hectare works with maximum productivity and minimum environmental impact. It is these innovations that Futurology integrates into production processes and shares its experience with the international community. Therefore, as pioneers in the integration of innovative technologies, particularly in the agro-industry, Futurology will take part in the PA Elevation working group meeting in Pennsylvania (USA) on 19 February at 10:00, where it will share its own experience in the application of unmanned technologies and discuss effective strategies for implementing precision farming approaches.

In particular, the discussion will be attended by:

  • Valerii Iakovenko, co-founder and managing partner of DroneUA and Futurology, Inc. and Co-Chair of the Agricultural Committee of the PA Drone Association;

  • Oleksandra Afanasieva, co-founder and CEO of BEETLESS and Co-Chair of the Agricultural Committee of the PA Drone Association;

  • Christopher Kahn, AlphaRTK.

Representatives will also join the discussions:

  • USGS NGP (Gross)

  • NGAC 3DEP Subcommittee (Blackmer)

  • PA GeoBoard (Drzyzga)

  • PA Hydrography Working Group (Fehrs)

  • PA Remote Sensing Program (Petroski)

  • PEMA Imagery (Bodtorf)

  • PASDA (Kelly)

  • 3DPA in Cambria County (Kocsis)

The expert meeting will be an important milestone in the international exchange of experience and expansion of opportunities for integrating unmanned technologies into agriculture. The collaboration of participants will provide new developments in the implementation of advanced approaches to the digital transformation of the agricultural sector.
